Your soul is always going to whisper your truth back to you. Your soul wants what is best for you. And if you try to silence its voice, eventually the whisper will become a roar.
Lacey Johnson

The Brave Tenderness is a vision of life as well as a mission. A plea that bravely roars for more tenderness, gentleness, compassion, vulnerability, affection, intimacy, sensuality, sensitivity,... When we bravely react from tenderness, it becomes possible to feel and respect our own suffering and that of others, without denying ourselves. We learn to delve into our Soul and grow along with it. After all, her voice invites us to live consciously from the heart and to choose beyond certainty or the known. This takes courage and a transformation in our consciousness.

This plea eventually turned into an Art Mentoring Studio for seniors, adults, adolescents and young teenagers from the age of ten.

It's a place where art and a higher state of consciousness meet, where space is created for both artistic and personal growth and art workshops and story whispering sessions are used to heal and develop a (pro)active awareness mechanism in order to find more inner health.

Perceiving and practicing art can be experienced as a way to become more aware of something that lives deep within ourselves but often remains unconsciously hidden. For yourself, and therefore for the other. Yet, what is kept hidden will float to the surface sooner or later, and as often until we pay attention to it.

Therefore, as a Story Whisperer©, I also dive into age-old tales to serve them as healthy medicine to anyone who wants to get to know themselves on a deeper level in order to become as large in life as possible. After all, stories provide a valuable framework for our cultural, mental, emotional and spiritual growth, so you can't really start early enough.

That is why I also go to schools, and in addition to residential care homes, to keep young teens in touch with their inner wild nature and to reconnect elderly people with that nature. Eventually, we all start our lives as strong, natural forces, but more and more we end up as outsiders in our own culture. Age-old tales, myths and stories give us insights that increases our consciousness, so that we can see and follow the road again that was left by the nature of the wild. The lessons we find in these tales show us that our path never ends, but that it still takes us further, deeper still, through conscious self-knowledge an soul awareness.

In my studio, I welcome you to The
Journey Of Your Own Awakening Soul.
