Bringing The Silver Out
A Self-portrait Series
Oil on canvas, 2022
100x150 cm
The women who is a virgin, one in herself, does what she does not for power or out of the desire to please, but because what she does is true. She is the part of us [in men and women] who is outcast, the part that comes to consciousness through going into darkness, mining our leaden darkness, until we bring her silver out.

The Sacral
Oil on canvas, 2022
80x60 cm
I allow nurturance and comfort.
My relationships are safe.
Sexuality is sacred.
My emotions are grounded and balanced.
I feel creative and energized from within.
When our sacral chakra is opening we experience the invigoration and vitality of this energy. The sacral chakra is our center of creativity and passion. When this energy is flowing and balanced we feel inspired and energized. This allows us to enjoy and understand the process of conscious creativity, experiencing cosmic sexuality as sacred (with only yourself and/or your partner) and of manifesting passionate dreams and healthy desires. This energy is the physical expression of our spiritual power.

Restoring Of The Serpent
Oil on paper, 2022
50x65 cm
As one aspect of Sophia (or Wisdom, Virgin, Madonna, Yin energy, Shakti,... ), the image of the serpent can awake a woman to the mystery of life being enacted in her own body. For a woman without a positive mother the ‘dark’ or ‘lower’ side of Sophia can bring freedom, the security of freedom, because she is a natural home for the rejected child. The child born from the rejected side of the mother can bring her own rebel to rest in the outcast state of the Virgin. In loving the abandoned child within herself, a woman becomes pregnant with herself. The child that her mother did not nourish, she will now nourish. Therefore, the archetypal image of the serpent could be seen as an appendix of the dark mother, used to guard inviolate purity, and at the same time as a capacity to renew itself. Symbolically, the spirit of a serpent is known to be seen as a rebirth, a transformation, a healing of the old form (be that mind, body, and spirit) as it sheds it’s skin and regenerates a new being. And so the daughter who is able to come out from under the skin of the dark mother will not perpetuate her but redeem her. Therefore it is key to restore the image and spirit of the so-called ‘evil and wicked’ serpent. Instead, we could honour her as the patron of the abandoned daughters who rejoice in their outcast state and can use it to renew the world.
Note: Kundalini energy also moves like a serpent and is awakened by specific meditation and consciousness techniques.

The Bowl
Oil on paper, 2022
50x65 cm
The Sacred Union
The earth force of the divine feminine energy flows into the pelvis and begins to form a bowl, a wonderful, unique, stable bowl — a model for the womb. In this shell the feminine creative power consciously guards wisdom and life to eventually bring it out. Her divine focus is inward, for the processes take place within her. Therefore she experiences herself through her inner experience and feeling; her lap space is her compass. It knows exactly what life serves and what doesn't, and has confidence in itself and its rhythm. The power of the feminine becomes active when it is open and wide and ready to be fertilized by masculine energy.
The earth force of the divine male energy flows like red hot magma into the pelvis and from there on to the abdominal space. Even as a man you have that same kind of bowl in which you nurture your ideas until they are ripe to be born. When the magma enters that space, a white fire arises like a gigantic campfire — the fire of the masculine creative power with which we fertilize the world. The divine masculine energy is focused outwardly, it expresses itself in conscious deeds. His fire becomes active when it is open to fertilize a space of creation outside himself. To let it be fed and nurtured from within by divine feminine energy in order to provide the vitality and enthusiasm for what we want to realize and put into conscious and healthy projects.

Inner Child Healing
A Self-portrait Series
Oil on canvas, 2021
80x60 cm
As a child our relationship with our caretakers profoundly influences our adult relationships. Through them we learn how to 'be' in relationships and what to expect from partners when we grow up. Most adults have 'inner child wounds'. In its healthy state the inner child deals with innocence, creativity and playfulness. Yet, during our upbringing we often have learned to take responsibility for situations we were not supposed to be responsible for. When situations like these get triggered again in our adult life, the inner child gets scared. Fearing that when we do something wrong others will not pay attention to our care. That they might become angry with us and take their love away. When the inner child is upset, you will notice unconscious self-sabotage, irrational behaviors and strong emotions coming to the fore. It is crucial to talk to your inner child to see what it needs to heal the wounds and resolve the misunderstandings.

An Awakening Woman
A Self-portrait Series
Oil on canvas, 2021
155x222 cm
To awaken is to heal. It’s not about becoming more, or changing, but about allowing to cleanse away and release outworn distortions coming from society, limiting ancestral beliefs and karmic patterning — to reveal the immaculate Light that was always there.
An Awakened Woman is a Warrior, a Queen of the Heart.
She shows you the Way of the Heart and the many facets of your own Soul that needs to be healed, for she has learned how to heal hers. She won’t yell, argue, entertain or tolerate negative, abusive energy like others might have done. She will dismiss situations like these because she has learned to love herself and is destined to find a soulful man who is more on her Cosmic Level. Only when a man has learned to listen to his Heart he can hear her calling him.
Choosing to be romantically and sexually intimate with an Awakened Woman takes Divine Masculine Courage to walk fearlessly into the Unknown. But it will reap rewards beyond your mind’s comprehension.
She will take you into Undiscovered Worlds of Mystery and Magic. She will lead you, mesmerised and half-drunk with love, into the Wild Forests of Sensual Ecstasy and Wonder. She will show you Sacred Skies so full and burning with stars that you will start to wonder if you are still living on the same planet that you were born on.
She will break and tear you open so that your Fierce Passionate Heart drives you half-mad with longing. You will want to consume and penetrate her on every level so that your Masculine Essence can consume and penetrate the World – illuminating the Universe with your Devoted Love.
She will see you like you’ve never been seen before. She will trust you. She will be honest and loyal. She will appreciate you. She will give you breathing room and time to pursue your adventures and dreams. She will learn from and with you. She will support, inspire and encourage your Authentic Self. She will speak words that your Soul understands and she will always have your back. She will be your best friend and confidant. She will acknowledge your efforts to make her happy. She will laugh and joke with you. She will value everything good that you do, and everything good that you are. She will see you as her True Hero. And she will not run from your darkness, because your darkness does not scare her. She takes darkness and turns it into Light. She takes your base metal and turns it into Gold.
She will embrace, kiss, caress and love you back to Life.
What she needs from you? Respect, bravery, strength, emotional availability, openness, tenderness and the acknowledgement that she’s your Queen. When she is tired, she needs you to give her rest so she can strenghten her magic to work beside you. When she is sad, she needs you to hold her space and keep her close. And when she is frightened, she needs you to keep her safe. That is all she asks. In return she will give you the World like you’ve never seen it before.
It is a monumental endevour to love an Awakened Woman, because there is suddenly no place left to hide. She sees everything, she sees you. Therefore she can love you with a Depth and Presence that your Heart, Body and Soul have yearned for so hard, so long, so fiercely, that you wonder whether you have actually been alive for all the time that she has been away. Loving a woman like this, is a choice you make to start living with your Soul on Fire.

The Wounded Healer
Oil on canvas, 2019
70x100
I am a healer
And I am wounded
Wounded by a patriarchal construct
A disembodied dominance
A desecration of the Deep Feminine
Unable to see and revere
Her wise, feral secrets
Taming to seize control
Inside and out
Strangling the Source
Of life itself
I am looked at. Lusted over.
Reduced to pretty proportions
Not beheld and honoured
In my primal power
The grasping hand
Taking what is only numinous
When given
Can you not see that
This is holy ground?
Wounds beget wounds
And Protectors fortify gates
Preventing invasion
While trapping me in the
Small confines of my safety
Better invisible
Than violated
This I know
Too well
But the call to freedom
To an unabashed announcement
A proud proclamation
Of the winged and wild Magic
That flows in Her blood
Rings loud and moves deep
Rattling discarded old bones
It’s time to sing
Her soul
Back into Life
An inner resistance
Surges forward
To name and proclaim
Her sacred sovereignty
Calls me to reckon with
The fucked-up parameters
Of the whole godforsaken story
A call to let the
Great fires burn
Fires of rage
Flaming with discernment
Radiating light and love
Fires of power
Burning with humility
Glowing with wisdom
Ablaze with clarity of heart
Fires to consume
The construct of The Construct
Not only out there
But also, and firstly
In here
In the exiled establishments
Of my own being
Where this blade
Also lives in me
The uncomfortable truth
Of wholeness
Lest my best attempt
At healing
Sadly end up fuelling
The Shadow’s veiled intent
A collusion with the split,
The fear-full ‘Othering’
That braces us for battle
Ensuring we all remain
Armoured and afraid
May the women we now call witches
Who burned and drowned
For embodying the Knowing
Feel us turn
Turn to see, turn to stand
Feel the legacy of strength and fear
And find a way to speak
Deep bow to these, my ancestors
To yours too
May my voice be neither meek,
Nor mired in force
But a fierce, unapologetic,
Undomesticated howl
To serve the re-wilding restoration
The sacred balance
Of Life Itself
To this end,
may my life be true.
Jacqueline Sheridan
The Wounded Healer is the archetype of the Self, our wholeness, the God within, and it is at the bottom of all genuine healing procedures.
Marie-Louise Von Franz
Wounded Healers are not made. They created themselves through conquering Adversity, Trial Error and Extreme suffering. They conquer fear and find a way to learn to speak their truth even when they are afraid. In doing so they Shine Light on others who are lost and feel alone. And in return their Inner Light ignites with renewed purpose. A purpose greater than they ever could imagine.

Keep Us From Temptation
Charcoal and acryl on paper, 2015
22x17cm
Peacocks are known to be praised for their beauty because of their vibrant feather colours. Throughout ancient cultures like the Greeks, Egyptians, and Romans the sight of a peacock was therefore thought to be a gift from the gods or other divine beings. Thus they were highly valued as a sacred, luck-bringing and royal sign of bounty. But from a polarity point of view, is it all positive what these birds represent? Not really. Their mating ritual can actually be seen as an act of vanity, because the peacock uses his bright plumage and elegant posture to attract a peahen. What we can learn from these birds is that vanity can never be fulfilling; our inherent beauty is much more important than our appearance. When seeing a peacock it's warning can be to Keep Us From Tempation of what is too superficial and not truly fulfilling.
When can you call on your peacock spirit animal?
- When you wish to explore your hidden skills and talents. Just as the peacocks can’t see their own feathers and are, thus, unaware of their beauty, we, too, can be unaware of our gifts. Their spirits can guide you into your inner consciousness to explore your true potentials. It will also help you to become fully aware of your strengths, and then you can use them to your benefit.
- When you lack confidence. The peacock spirits are full of self-love and self-confidence and can lend some of it to you to improve your confidence.
- When you are trying to heal from a tragic past experience and need the energy to move forward in life. The Shamans used to believe that peacocks possessed strong healing powers. Their spirit can heal all your mental and emotional wounds and help you grow stronger and wiser from your experiences.

Arms Of Mine
Bister on canvas, 2015
70x100 cm
I see the rain
Falling down on your lips
I can see it on your face
And all I hear
Is this voice synthesize
Most importantly
I know you will see in time
Then you can decide
To hold onto these arms of mine
But what hurts most of all
Is that we′ll never see the sun
Then you can decide
To hold onto these arms of mine
Our shadows run
Through the pain in the dark
Are those tears or just lies
My systems down
So go ahead and melt this heart
